The Day Finally Came!

What a day! We've been waiting for so long for the first touch of pool water on our toes! Well, okay not me but those three girls of mine have been! It was a busy day- we first went to a birthday party for one of Morgan's friends at a gymnastics place and everyone jumped and climbed like little monkeys. Then straight to the pool- needless to say we were tired and worn out- note last photo of Campbell. Thanks for looking!

Happiness for everyone- new lens for mommy, spash pad for kiddos.

I really am enjoying this new lens. Of course tonight there were a few blurry ones, due to the nature of the location, but I'm amazed at the ones I did get that were so crisp and clear!
I went back and forth between AV and TV modes, looking for stopping the water and also trying to blur the ugly background of cars and the parking lot! Thanks for looking!

Ahh... happiness... we went to get our pool passes yesterday and had to go take a peek at the pool. Makenna would have scaled the fence if I would have let her! She was mad when we had to leave. Pool opens this Saturday- you can bet we'll be there! Doesn't it look awesome!

New Lens! Hooray!

Okay, so I took this picture yesterday before my new lens- but it captures my feeling of happiness and joy over the new 50mm 1.4 I bought today!
