These are a few of the flowers I got for my own flowerbeds. Hmm, now if I can get them planted! I'm so bummed about the flower theme ending.

If you'd like to check out my new blog specifically for my business check out www.freshfromgodphotography.blogspot.com- created just yesterday but a couple of sessions on there and more to come this week.

I'm Officially a Flower Stalker!

One of my dear friends knew that this week's theme was flowers so she invited me over to take pictures of her roses. When leaving I saw some of her neighbors' fabulous hydrangeas so I had to stop there as well. I definitely have enjoyed this week- and I finally did get some of my own flowers- now I just need to get them in the ground!

Pat- I did take a couple pictures of the girls yesterday by the flowers but we weren't really dressed/prepared for photo shoots- so they are kind of random! I'll post a few tomorrow- they still need editing! I'm glad everyone liked the last picture from yesterday's post- I was really trying to capture that sunburst coming through the trees. I'm really happy with the way it turned out- I think I'm going to do a photo wall with all of the flower pictures from this week.

Flowers and Other Nice Surprises

This is the view I could see from the busy street as we were driving to another park to play on the playground. "I've got to stop and take pics of those flowers girls!"
This park was gorgeous- an undiscovered little hideaway on the campus of a small bible college that I'm so happy to have found! It also had a pond and fountain complete with ducks!

Flowers Three

These little guys are called "Indian Paintbrush" I believe. They sprout up all over the place but are gone fairly quickly after they come up. I love seeing them on the side of the road and that is where I shot these- I'm sure the people driving by thought I was nuts! On the 1st one I ran Ren's Candy Popcorn action and on the other two I used her Glow action. Thanks for looking!

Flowers Two

We had to take a walk around the neighborhood and look for other people's wonderfully landscaped yards with beautiful flowers- I'm on a mission this week to get a few of my own planted- I'll keep you updated- hopefully by Saturday I can post one of my own beautiful flowers! Today my favorite is the top photo- I love the way that one little petal is folding over.
Thanks for looking!

A Love Song for Mr. Turtle

Okay we were back at the pool again today, I'll try not to bore you anymore this week. Our town has three different pools we can go to, so this was pool #2! For the longest time Campbell was standing by this turtle giving him some love and a serenade.
