Mother's Day will always be bittersweet for me. On my first Mother's day as a mother, my own mother passed away after battling multiple sclerosis for many years. My father had died the year previously and after he died it was almost as if she gave up entirely. The disease not only effected her physically but mentally as well. I found this picture today so I could post it to honor her- she is the one that I can thank for my photography skills and interest. She was always snapping photos of me and my sister so this now lives on in me. Thanks mom!

I am so sorry that you lost your mom...you two are so beautiful there together in that photo...you are so lucky to have it. You can really see the love she has for you in her eyes.
