Yeah for cooperation! However she was moving quite a bit so they are all a tad soft. I'm totally digging the milk and honey on the first shot, but I can't see that big of a difference on shot number two- hmm- back to editor...
Let me tell you guys this. I have gotten nothing done since I have discovered photoshop. I could sit here all day and play with these pictures. I can't believe I've been living with SOOC shots for so long!
Question: I am planning on making the 50mm 1.4 purchase fairly soon. When I use this lens how to I adjust settings wise? Right now I am shooting in P mode most of the time and for shots like these above at a high ISO to compensate for low light.

Love the first one and the last one - such cute expressions. Great job on catchlights!
I really love that 2nd edit of that first shot-photoshop is so addicting to play with.
When you get your new lens, there will be a learning curve, but the ability to have a nice wide aperture will be nice. These are nice shots, really like the second on, upper right corner.
She is just SO dang cute! You will love the 50 1.4. I don't think you'll have to adjust too much, you may not need as high of iso's now with the wider ap. But watch out because the DOF gets SOOO shallow it's hard to get things all in focus. I like to use my 50 at around f/2 to f/2.8 most of the time. Congrats on the new lens! :)
Don't have that lens, sure wish I did! Playing in Photoshop can be a major hobby! Don't try Lightroom...the presets for it are even MORE addicting!!!
What a cutie! I like the second version of the first one. He skin just looks so creamy there.
i agree on the 1st one. great look
Wonderful shots!! Congrats on the new lens!

Great expressions in these photos. You're sure to have lots of fun learning your new lens!
Very cute! My favorite is the right one in the first row, so adorable!
I love all of the expressions you caught. I would SO SO love to have the 1.4. I cannot wait to see what you do with it.
Get off that P...you can do it! Your pictures will look so awesome, I am sure!
